Dr. Kathryn Trotter

Dr. Kathryn Trotter is the lead faculty for the WHNP major at Duke University School of Nursing. She is Senior Nurse Practitioner at Duke Breast Clinic and volunteers at the

Triangle Residential facility of Substance Abusers (TROSA). Her areas of expertise include breast health, shared medical appointments, and interprofessional education. She has published and presented at national conferences on these topics. Her innovations in providing healthcare for women include developing and implementing shared medical appointments/group visits for pregnant and postpartum women, well baby/parent groups, breast cancer survivors, and women at high risk for breast cancer.

Dr. Trotter is an inducted Fellow of both the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Nurses.
