Rebecca Sacks, Arizona State University

I live in Scottsdale with my wonderful husband, our two busy school-aged boys, and our champion show dog! I graduated from the University of Akron in 2017 from their accelerated BSN program and hold a BA in Art History and Jewish studies from Kent State University. I am working on my DNP in the Women’s Health specialty track at Arizona State University and will graduate in May 2023.

I became a nurse after losing my mother to breast cancer and learning I share the BRCA 2 mutation with her. My mother’s loss and my gene status inspired me to become a nurse and pushed me on to become a WHNP. My goal is to support cancer survivors and “previvors” by being a holistic provider allowing patients to find the path that works best for them.
