Samantha Noblejas, BSN, RN, C-EFM, Women’s Health/Gender-Related Nurse Practitioner Program, University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing

I am a proud Filipina-American and originally from Freehold, NJ. Currently, I am a student in the Women’s Health/Gender-Related Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Pennsylvania. I also completed my undergraduate studies at Penn and received my BSN from Penn Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Economics/Health Care Management & Policy from the Wharton School.

After graduating, I moved down to Baltimore, where I later worked in the perinatal unit, caring for high-risk antepartum, L&D, and postpartum patients.

My interests in women’s health stem from my passion for equitable access to family planning, reproductive health care, and gynecologic care that educates and empowers patients. After witnessing my mother receive care for uterine and ovarian health issues throughout my childhood, I was inspired to work as a nurse, and later on, pursue my education to become a WHNP.

I am honored to be a part of the NPWH Student Ambassadors Program and hope to learn as much as I can from my mentor and from the NPWH Conference!
